info for Budgie Owners
Some info that everybody owner should know
i'm sure there are some tips you already
know of but there will be lots of new
life hacks that will really help you out
with taking care of your budgies
did you know that your budgies can drink
tea
not all teas will work for that
obviously not those with caffeine added
flavors for sugar
i'm usually given my buddies organic
chamomile tea it's very healthy for them
they drink it once or twice a week
i know lots of people already know about
this life hack but for those who don't
you can just use your mom's regular
clothespin to hang your budgie fruits
vegetables and herbs inside or outside
the cage
easy veggie chop every day
preparing a veggie chop for your budgies
every morning can be a pain in the butt
so what i do is i chop a big amount of
veggies
and then divide portions into an ice
tray and then i freeze it and that's how
i have a fresh veggie chop every day i
just let it sit outside for about 20
minutes before i serve it to them
blowing away
this is a nice little trick to save on
seeds instead of throwing the entire
leftovers away
you simply blow lightly on the feeder
and all of the husk seeds will fly away
and then you'll be left with seeds that
aren't iced yet
homemade humidifier
whenever your budgies are tell bobbing
and seem as if they're having a hard
time breeding
you can set up a glass bowl filled with
hot water and place it near your
budgie's cage when your budgie is inside
and the cage is closed
the steam will evaporate into the air
near your budgie and will make the air
humid and warm which will help your
budgie to breathe better
even though this life hack is pretty
popular i haven't tried it until a few
months back and now i'm always using it
just take a used toothbrush that you
were about to throw away and use it for
cleaning perches feeders and even
collecting those little sticky feathers
from the cage bars
my cage already comes with a seat
catcher but if you have a different cage
and you're tired of all the seeds thrown
away on the counter and the floor
you can just buy a large tray and place
it under your budgie skate
getting your budgie back into the cage
if your budgie is untamed and won't get
back into its cage there is a simple
trick you can do that works every time
just turn off the lights in the room and
place a light source near your budgie's
cage the cage will be the only thing it
sees and it will fly back inside right
away
get your budgies to eat pellets
if your budgies are stubborn like my
budgies and you have a bag of pellets
that they refuse to eat.
you can just grind the pellets to a
powder and sprinkle some with water over the
regular seed mix and that's how you fool your budgies
